As the Director, my primary responsibility was to conceptualize and execute the overall aesthetic of this year's festival recap video. Collaborating closely with Monstercat's Creative Director, I developed a comprehensive shooting plan and recruited the necessary crew for the project. My objective was to capture cinematic footage of the crowd and performers from diverse angles, ensuring a dynamic and engaging final edit. This included integrating various first-person shots and iPhone footage to emphasize the crowd experience. The final video, which I also edited, received commendations from Monstercat’s suite of directors.
Alan Walker x Joe Jonas Release
Short Form Content Specialist
In 2024, Alan Walker, who has 26.7 million monthly listeners, collaborated with renowned musician and Disney Channel star, Joe Jonas. This collaboration featured a comprehensive multi-channel social media strategy, emphasizing a series of short-form videos designed to build awareness and generate excitement for the upcoming release. As the Short Form Content Specialist, I partnered with Monstercat’s Social Media Manager to transform the extensive raw footage captured with the talent in New York City into captivating and engaging content tailored for their audience. We developed a suite of promotional videos that were utilized both before and after the track's release. The campaign achieved remarkable success, earning the “Best Use of Short Form Video” award at Music Alley’s “Best Campaigns of The Year 2024” awards.
Monstercat DJ Simulator Roblox Game

Roblox is currently one of the most popular games globally, ranking alongside Fortnite, particularly among younger audiences—nearly half of its users are under the age of 12. In a strategic initiative to introduce Monstercat's music to this demographic, a playable DJ Simulator level was developed for Roblox. I received early access to the DJ Simulator and was responsible for capturing the footage for the trailer and editing the final piece.
To ensure a successful outcome, I conducted extensive research on gameplay trailers prior to beginning the project. Coupled with my background in cinematography and video capture, I focused on obtaining shots that were not only visually engaging but also aligned with the stakeholders' priorities. The final trailer received high praise from project stakeholders and Monstercat’s executive team. It has since exceeded 250,000 views across various platforms.
Shaquille O’Neal (DJ Diesel)
Short Form Content Specialist
DJ Diesel, widely recognized as NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal, made a significant return to the music scene with the release of his fifth studio album, marking the first album in 25 years in collaboration with Monstercat. This highly anticipated album featured a diverse range of collaborations with various Monstercat artists, making it one of the largest and most significant album releases in the company's history.
Given the album's immense significance, a comprehensive, multi-platform release strategy was essential to successfully promote it. This strategy encompassed the creation of engaging content tailored for DJ Diesel's social media channels, alongside promotional materials designed to enhance visibility on his digital streaming platform (DSP) channels. Included in this approach was the development of exclusive content for his Spotify Countdown page as well as Apple Music Pre-Save content, all of which played a crucial role in generating excitement leading up to the album's release. The culmination of these efforts positioned the album as one of the most thrilling releases in Monstercat's history.
